Agenda
Friday: Late arrival, homemade lasagna at home.
Saturday: Early farmer’s market, hammocking at Fayetteville lake, woooooooo-pig sooie, nap, charcuitere and wine, get rained on, sleep, fire alarm, sleep, fire alarm, sleep.
Sunday: Slept in (one of us, at least), made breakfast (one of us at least), ate breakfast (both of us, it was delicious), picked-up coffee, went to Top Golf, met Keegan, Justin, Tinley Bell, and Canada. Then back home to freshen up before meeting Karlee, Sterling, and BK at Feed & Folly (Pt 2) – we searched for ice cream after, ending up back at Graduate before saying our goodbyes. Then we picked-up Kylee for a nightcap at Puritan, drove her back home, then picked her up to take her back to Dickson; she came bearing gifts though and also shared her candy.
Monday: We left for SDC at 8AM like we had planned, stopping by Bolder Coffee on our way out of town, had a really scenic drive through Mark Twain National Forest and great conversation, finally arriving at perhaps the strangest place on Earth. It was a great time, as it always is with you (even and especially waiting in line). We got to ride Wildfire (3x), Fire in the Hole, the Barn Swing, Time Traveler, Thunderation, the raft ride, and Powder Keg. We also had some skillet food, I had a corndog and a sugar straw, fulfilling my childhood dreams at SDC! A nice drive home and some Thai food on the deck finished the weekend – always ealier than we’d like.
