Agenda
Friday: I drove from Iowa, you drove from Arkansas, and we met in the middle – in KC. We went to Novel for dinner, then walked around the Kauffman Center. I made us cocktails and we watched King of the Hill before bed.
Saturday: We woke up to the most beautiful sunrise we’ve seen in KC yet, I made us breakfast, we went to the Van Gogh Alive exhibit and then made an impromptu trip to the zoo before returning home for an afternoon nap. We both slept a good two hours then went to the Crossroads for a drink and some charcuterie before heading out to Powell Gardens for the Festival of Lights. After that, we came home and watched Miracle On 34th Street before bed.
Sunday: We had coffee at home then walked to Westside to Chez Elle for some savory crepes and more coffee. Then we walked to a nearby playground and played around a bit before walking home. We hung out a bit before heading to what’s quickly becoming a favorite of ours – Ce Va, in Westport, for some bubbly and some French Dip sandwiches. We got even more coffee then said our goodbyes – Becky’s last time leaving KC.
